Around Wine, a specialist destination for the wine lover in Marylebone, London has recently moved to leading Midlands based Sage Business Partner CPiO for Sage 200 software support.
Sage 200 is utilised by Around Wine to manage its accounts and invoicing processes together with CRM for managing its customer support.
The software provides the business with a fully integrated solution and accurate reporting. When the Sage support contract was due for renewal, Martin Alpren, Managing Director at Around Wine decided to re-evaluate the cost/benefit ratio of the support service and to examine whether the response and expertise could be improved. He began to consider the option of changing his Sage Business Partner. Martin explains, ‘On meeting with Lorraine Parkes from CPiO, I was impressed with her explanation of the back office set up there, the range of expertise and how it was spread across the business. This was later confirmed by the customer references that Lorraine supplied.

Problems that we had experienced throughout the history of the system were solved in seconds.’ Martin continues, ‘We have seen an immediate business benefit, our customer support and repair operation has been streamlined and it’s now quick to use following the smoothing out that we asked Roger Cole from the CRM Division to do. I’ve now asked Dave Lee, the CPiO Sage 200 Projects Consultant to take a look at the quotation process and smooth out any issues we have there too. I feel that so much has been achieved in the last 2 months and I’m looking forward to building a strong relationship with CPiO in 2013.
