The company began to experience issues with its Sage Line 100 solution including poor reporting functionality and inefficient manual searches across the organisation.
Headquartered in the West Midlands, Box Telematics is a highly respected data collection house and total solution provider for the wirefree telematics market. As the business developed it became clear that the Box Telematics had outgrown Sage Line 100. Having looked at software packages from Microsoft and Sage, Box Telematics opted for Sage 200.
As the natural upgrade path from Sage Line 100, Sage 200 offers the business a scalable, robust system that will easily integrate with other applications. Once the company decided to move forward with Sage 200 it began its search for a Sage business partner. “We wanted to work with a local Sage reseller and so used a search engine to find a Midlands based company. CPiO came up as one of the top results on the first page.” Steve Clarke, Finance Manager.
Steve explains Box Telematics’ reasoning behind choosing to work with CPiO, “The expertise of the Sage 200 consultants and sales team impressed us from the outset. They took the time to understand our business as well as its requirements and clearly demonstrated how the solution would solve the problems we were experencing.”
Sage 200 solves many business issues presented by Line 100 as well as the organisations’ other disparate systems. Steve explains “The majority of our business issues centred on manufacturing. A lot of time was spent paper chasing so we needed a system which could automate processes.
The implementation of Sage 200 Manufacturing has enabled us to achieve this, saving the business both time and money.” Moving forward, Box Telematics is looking to further develop CRM, building on the free of charge CRM seat included with the Sage 200 Suite. Steve concludes, “We have already started working with CPiO on a CRM consultancy basis and feel confident that we have a strong business partnership going forward”.
