Education for Health – Sage 200 Case Study

Summary

As the business developed, finances were constantly stretched and bolting extras on to the existing system was a frequent occurrence. Over time this created inconsistencies in the system usage resulting in users entering duplicated information making the efficient production of accurate data on a timely basis impossible. “The Line 50 system could no longer provide us with the management information we required and there was simply no easy way of tracking client history”, commented Candy Perry, Marketing Manager, Education for Health.

Description

Education for Health was an existing Sage user but required a solution with greater breadth and depth of functionality than Line 50 could provide. “A solution that included all applications needed to manage information and processes in every part of the business was the only option moving forward”, adds Candy Perry. “Moving on from Sage Line 50 to Sage 200 was the most logical option for us. As a company we were already familiar with Sage and CPiO’s ability to work with our bespoke database provider gave us the assurance we needed. We had found the right partner to make the change with”, commented Rebecca Harkcom, Director of Finance, Education for Health.

“The inclusion of Sage’s Cost Centre Accounting module was essential for the growing business to allow new developments to be ring fenced for reporting purposes, allowing their value to the organisation to be evaluated accurately.”

The company quickly began to see the benefits of working with one, integrated system through improved consistency of information between departments and more reliable auditing. With Sage 200 providing a more streamlined, efficient and consistent sales process outfacing performance with customers has been much improved. Corporate customers could be managed much better and more easily and extensive ‘paper trails’ were eliminated. Rebecca Harkcom concludes “Education for Health feel satisfied that CPiO will continually work with us to adapt and build upon the solution to meet our changing needs.”
