Supplying springs, pressworks, wire forms and multiforms to ISO9002 standard and providing assembly, tooling and design and welding services from its base in Redditch, Protaform Springs and Pressings required a more efficient, up-to-date finance system to replace it’s outdated and unsupported Sage Line 100 solution.
“Our existing Sage Line 100 solution was due to become unsupported and the business management system running alongside Sage Line 100, which the company had used for many years, no longer offered the depth of information needed across the business.” Des Fagg, Managing Director at Protaform Springs and Pressings.
“Following a review of the market we found that Sage 200 addressed these issues and having used Sage for a number of years, we felt comfortable that implementing a new Sage solution was the best route forward.”
Protaform Springs and Pressings also chose to purchase a new server via CPiO, ensuring that the software is running on modern and reliable hardware.
Des concludes, “CPiO’s ability to offer a one-stop shop for software and hardware support was very appealing. The consultants demonstrated a good understanding of the solution and explained the purchase and implementation processes clearly. We have selected the right solution in Sage 200 and most certainly chose the right business partner to work with.”
The transition to Sage ERP 1000 v4 has been very smooth, with very little or no disruption to the users.
CPiO took the time to understand our business processes and fully appreciate our requirements of a CRM system
