New Head of CRM Division at CPiO
CPiO Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of John Haigh as Head of the CRM Division.

John is one of the industry’s foremost figures in the field of Customer Management Solutions, and brings a wealth of experience in CRM, business intelligence and performance management.

With over 20 years in senior sales, consulting and customer service management roles, 12 of which were specifically focused on CRM, John will provide our customers with a deep understanding of how to successfully implement CRM solutions that transform business performance.

As well as strategy development and project management for numerous CRM programmes, John has managed over 150 CRM implementations for both large and small companies across all industry sectors. Some examples include Saint-Gobain Group, Speedy Hire Centres, Johnson & Johnson Group, Halifax Bank of Scotland and Société-Générale.

His extensive knowledge of both Sage and Microsoft CRM products will be a huge asset to our customers as they work with CPiO to drive process efficiency into the business and use technology to release cost savings and deliver growth.

New! Sage 1000 v2.02 released to market


Just sixteen months after the first appearance of Sage 1000, Sage has announced the release of v2.02 of the application; a solution designed to deliver the enhancements that customers really want.

In particular, v2.02 adds two major sets of functionality: Telesales and Credit Management. In addition, v2.02 allows customers to share resources between companies in the Cash Book, Nominal and Payroll modules.

CPiO Customer Scientific & Chemical have been short listed for IT Industry Award

Sage 1000 short listed for ‘Most Effective Use of Information’ industry award.

We are pleased to announce that Sage 1000, our integrated business management software suite, has been short listed in this year’s Effective IT Awards in the Most Effective Use of Information category.

Sage’s customer Scientific and Chemical Supplies was chosen for its implementation of Sage 1000 by Sage business partner CPIO. It is competing against entries from Barclays Bank and advertising agency Lowe & Partners in the finals, which take place on June 28th.

The awards are organised by Information Age magazine, a leading title for senior IT decision makers in the UK and celebrate IT strategies that demonstrate how technology provides real business value.

The organisers commented: "We have received over 400 entries, and the calibre of entrants has been particularly high this year."

Sage MMS has been renamed and forms a key part of the new Sage 200 suite

Since 2003, Sage MMS has been a major focus for the Research and Development teams at Sage. The result is a feature-rich accounts and trading application for mid-sized businesses. Moving forwards, Sage MMS has been renamed and forms a key part of the new Sage 200 suite.

Specifically, Sage MMS v3.5 is the basis for the Sage 200 Financials and Commercials packages and the Sage 200 Bill of Materials module released this month alongside the brand new Project Accounting module.

Over time, the Sage 200 suite will expand to include software to control:
• Finance
• Distribution
• CRM
• Retail
• Manufacturing
• Construction
• Services
• Asset management
• Forecasting
• Human resources.

New acquisition for The Waterdale Group

The Waterdale Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Birmingham-based IT company Intellisell Limited on March 1st 2007. The acquisition sees The Waterdale Group, comprising of CPiO Limited, Advanced Digital Technology Limited, eSpida Limited and Ardent Solutions Limited, extend to now encompass a range of powerful web-trading solutions designed to support the Sage end user community.

Andrew Watkinson, Managing Director The Waterdale Group, comments “The Intellisell range of products represents an exciting development in our portfolio. CPiO and ADT UK have a very strong Sage end user client base that we feel sure will benefit from the power of the Intellisell and Intellibuy solutions.”

Intellisell recently acquired the interests of Practical Logic including a wide range of clients representing many industries.
