Founded originally as a pharmacy in 1876, The Saville Group has over 250 personnel in fourteen locations and has successfully used Sage financial software to support its operations for a number of years.
Saville had previously been using Sage Line 500, Sage CRM, Hire Track, multiple Excel spread sheets and various other systems for reporting and budgeting. Graham Carling, Central Divisional Manager explains, “We began to question the functionality within our Sage Line 500 system and explored our options including an upgrade to Sage ERP 1000. We also considered products other than Sage including the Microsoft Dynamics range of software.“
Leading Sage Business Partner, CPiO who supported, maintained and developed the Saville Sage Line 500 installation, suggested it would be of value to see a demonstration of the integrated management solution, Sage X3. Damian Bourke, CPiO’s Senior Sage X3 Consultant met Graham together with the Saville board of directors to demonstrate the powerful and flexible solution and they soon began to see the technical capability underlying Sage X3. Graham says, “We felt the benefits to the business were likely to be far in excess of our original considerations. The breadth of functionality in Sage X3 means that we will no longer have to rely on 3rd party products.”
Working alongside CPiO throughout the Sage X3 implementation, Saville have been impressed with the ease of the process. Looking to the future, Graham concludes, “The fully integrated end-to-end Sage X3 software will be far easier to manage on a day to day basis, and it has the flexibility to grow with us for the long term and help us meet competitive demands.”
