CPiO Celebrates its 30th Birthday - CPiO

Whilst 2020 is proving a volatile year for businesses across the country, for CPiO 2020 is a momentous year. June 2020 marks CPiO’s 30th anniversary.

Formed in 1990 by two former Tetra employees, CPiO’s founding principle was to offer exemplary service to Tetra, and latterly Sage, end users. That principle remains today where the business strives to build long term relationships with customers through great service and world-class solutions.

Over the years, as one of Sage’s leading Business Partners, CPiO has attracted and retained some great household names such as RSPCA, Gtech, Matki Showers, Sk:n Clinics, Wenlock Spring and British Gymnastics to name but a few.

Speaking of CPiO’s customer relationships, Andrew Watkinson, Managing Director at CPiO, says “I am incredibly proud of the hundreds of customers that we have serviced, many of which have been with us for the majority of our 30 years in business – something really special when you consider how disposable consumerism has become”.

When looking back over the last 30 years it is hard to comprehend the pace of change in technology from the inception of UNIX based ERP to the proliferation of cloud computing; the pace is eye watering. And CPiO has been at the forefront of these changes from the acquisition and inception of high-tech organisations to the development of Intellisell – the company’s own eCommerce solution, and the success of the CPiO Cloud platform.

CPiO’s solution and technology partners help CPiO support the UK Sage user base. From inception through to the ongoing annual product support and maintenance, CPiO supports hundreds of clients in major industry sectors including manufacturing, distribution, not for profit and the service sector.

Andrew continues, “What we have built here; our breadth and depth of skills and services, and our loyal customers bestowing us the opportunity to grow and thrive, reinforces our position as one of Sage’s most important partners”.

Unable to celebrate as planned, CPiO intends to mark the milestone occasion when it is safe to do so, hopefully in the not too distant future.

In a message to CPiO’s customers, Andrew says, “I want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible team at CPiO that does such a fantastic job of delivering great solutions and service to our customer base, day in, day out. In this team I have found some talented, loyal colleagues and some great friends.

I want to thank our solution and technology partners, in particular Sage for helping to create an impressive eco system from which to support the UK Sage user base. Long may we all be successful in our partnership.

And finally I want to thank our loyal customers. I am very grateful for our clients loyalty and business over the years and for giving CPiO the opportunity to grow and thrive. Whilst we are limited in our celebrations at present, I didn’t want this date to pass without acknowledgement”.
