When Mohammed Bham joined CPiO in 2025, one thing was immediately clear - he brought something that can’t be taught: genuine passion for Sage software.
What started over 14 years ago as a self-taught journey with Sage 50 has now come full circle, with Mohammed completing the Sage Intacct Academy at Sage HQ in Newcastle and achieving outstanding results that exceeded expectations across the programme.
Mohammed’s introduction to Sage began long before consulting was on his radar. After leaving college and moving to Malawi to work for a transport company, he taught himself Sage 50 and later used it professionally as an AATQB qualified bookkeeper.
“Back when I first started using Sage 50, I never imagined I’d one day be walking into Sage Headquarters,” Mohammed said. “The night before the Academy started, my suitcase was already in the car. My family could see how excited I was. It honestly felt like a dream come true I could hardly sleep.”
The Sage Intacct Academy is a 12-week programme designed to develop both technical expertise and the consulting skills needed to support customers through business transformation. Alongside in-depth platform training, the programme focuses on communication, advisory capability, and real-world problem solving.
For Mohammed, that human side of consulting became one of the biggest takeaways from his experience, “The Academy showed me that being a great consultant is about more than knowing the software,” he explained during his graduation presentation. “It’s about connecting with people, understanding their challenges, and helping transform the way they work.”
And it’s fair to say he made an impression.
Mohammed achieved an incredible 98% in the Build Lab assessment, the highest score recorded by Sage to date. He was also recognised throughout the programme for his enthusiasm, professionalism, and the support he provided to fellow cohort members.

Reflecting on his journey, Mohammed expressed gratitude for the opportunity to develop his career with CPiO and Sage Intacct, "I really appreciate the opportunity CPiO has given me and the investment they’ve made in my development,” he said. “I’m motivated, determined, and excited to continue growing with CPiO and Sage Intacct.”
