Sage 200 2025 R2 key highlights
Disconnected Logins
Minimise downtime and reduce support load with Automated Login Management. The system now automatically clears disconnected logins every 30 minutes in Sage 200 Professional, reducing user lockouts, support tickets, and improving overall system stability. (Sage 200 Professional only)
Import/Export for Country of Origin
Improve accuracy and compliance with bulk Country of Origin updates. Stock controllers can now update Country of Origin data in bulk via import/export templates—saving hours of manual work and ensuring consistent data for trade and audit purposes.
Simplify Compliance with Read-Only User Roles
A long-requested enhancement, read-only user roles introduce predefined roles and XML templates for Sage 200 Professional and Standard. This feature enables faster setup, consistent access control, reduced partner implementation time, and improved audit readiness—all while lowering onboarding costs.
Nominal Journal Function Key Shortcuts
Finance teams can now use keyboard shortcuts for common journal tasks, improving speed and reducing repetitive mouse clicks.
Easier Integrations
New API Fields
New and enhanced API fields expand automation and open the door to a wider ecosystem of ISV applications. This provides greater flexibility to connect your systems, streamline workflows, and build a truly custom-made solution tailored to your business needs.
Security and Compliance
Opayo Field Changes
Extended Opayo field support increases the Scheme Trace Number field to 6000 characters, resolving payment failures, reducing manual reconciliation, and improving the reliability of Opayo-integrated environments.
Updated Report Designer
Report Designer v7.0.76.0 delivers improved stability, compatibility, and new features—enabling finance teams and partners to build reports more confidently and reduce errors.
Removal of Windows 10 as a Supported Platform
Sage 200 now ends support for Windows 10, ensuring customers operate on modern, secure platforms and reducing the risk of compatibility issues. (Sage 200 Professional only)
Removal of the Sage 200 Manufacturing Module
The retirement of the built-in Manufacturing module enables customers to adopt more advanced, scalable ISV solutions tailored to their industry needs—reducing complexity and unlocking innovation. (Sage 200 Professional only)
