Sage releases Sage 200cloud 2020 version update

Sage releases Sage 200cloud 2020 version update

Wednesday 16th September 2020 sees the release of Sage 200cloud 2020 R2 for Standard Edition.

The highlight of Sage 200cloud 2020 R2 is the introduction of Web Forms. This new functionality allows users to access content in a web browser, on a tablet device and includes Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Stock Ledger Web Forms.

Web Forms are designed to enhance the user experience and offer users accessibility options dependent on their role and the task in hand. Glen Towers, Partner Enablement Manager at Sage explains how, in particular, the Stock Ledger Web Form improves user experience, “The Stock Ledger Web Form allows users to actually perform the stock take themselves. Picture someone being able to wander around a warehouse with a tablet in their hands, counting the goods and entering and saving them as they go.”

With the desktop equivalent forms also remaining, users who are familiar with the traditional forms will not lose the current functionality, but will benefit from a choice of access.

Sage 200cloud R2 also includes API enhancements to support customisations including Microsoft Flow, Power Apps and Power BI reports using the Sage 200cloud data.

These improvements will support customers by enabling connections for 3rd party developers.
