CPiO is celebrating its 35th birthday in Summer 2025
Formed in 1990 as a Tetra support partner, the organisation has seen many changes over the years navigating the natural undulation of business from the Sage acquisition of Tetra, the millennium 'bug', to Covid-19 and economic ups and downs.
Behind the name is a team of brilliant, skilled individuals who care about the brand and how CPiO shows up, day in, day out, for our customers, colleagues and suppliers. We often talk about there being a "CPiO culture" or "he or she is very CPiO", so we asked CPiO's longstanding Commercial Director, Rebecca Bradley (who has served 25 years, herself) what that really means.
"As an employee, CPiO is a little bit addictive. When I interview people I often talk about how we care about our team mates; we trust in what we are doing and we come to work every day believing that we can make a difference and improve something. Culture can be quite tough to sell, but so many of those people who go on to be employed, come back to me and tell me how true my explanation was", explains Rebecca. "And that culture manifests in how we treat each other and how we treat our customers. Our employees being engaged, feeling like they are making a difference and showing up every day for customers is critical to our business model. We aren't the biggest in the market and we don't get it right all of the time, but we do work with passion, conviction and in the best interests of the customer."
To thank employees, CPiO is holding an 'all-staff' event on the afternoon of June 5th 2025, to mark the occasion properly. "We couldn't mark our 30th birthday due to Covid-19 and, as we have all moved to hybrid working, the opportunity to get the whole team together is few and far between. The half day session in June is invaluable to team-building, knowledge share and patting each other on the back for 35 years of success." CPiO will be prematurely closing for the day from 2pm with limited support services for the afternoon to allow our team to all mark the occasion. "We will have a skeleton support staff available; customers should be assured that we will be able to respond if they really need us. Normal service will resume at 8am on Friday 6th."
And CPiO recognises the role that our loyal customer base has played over the years. On behalf of the whole team at CPiO, we want to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you for many more years to come.
