The Marble Group, one of the UK’s premier fabricators of stone worktops, has selected Sage 200 as its new finance solution. The move marks a significant step forward for the Hertfordshire-based company, replacing its existing Sage 50 system, seeking to streamline stock management and operational processes.
The business started eighteen years ago with two friends, Michael, a talented stonemason who dreamed of a venture in fabricating and installing kitchen worktops, and Theo, who also had a passion for stonemasonry and a head for business. They decided it would be a good opportunity to combine their expertise. Since its inception, the company has grown significantly, increasing its volume of sales and turnover, as well as employee headcount.
The company’s growth has stemmed from its unrivalled customer service and ability to meet customers’ individual needs, from residential projects to large-scale commercial developments.
The search for finance software to support business growth
