It's a double work-iversary celebration

It's a double work-iversary celebration

This week calls for a double celebration as we commemorate the one-year work-iversary of our talented CPiO Digital Marketing Assistant, Kiruthika Dhanajeyan, and our dedicated Marketing Assistant, Tamara Campbell.

Both Kiruthika and Tamara joined the CPiO Marketing team on the 25Both Kiruthika and Tamara became valuable members of the CPiO Marketing team on July 25th, 2022. Over the course of their first year, they have consistently demonstrated dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to upholding the company's core values.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Kiruthika and Tamara and gain some valuable insights into their experiences during their first year at CPiO. Here's what they had to say.

How do you reflect on your first year working at CPiO?

Tamara:
My first year has been great. The role of Marketing Assistant has allowed me to get involved in many aspects of the business, learn new things and have my own desk! I have learnt how to use new tools, learnt from experienced colleagues and been able to kickstart my marketing career.

Kiruthika:
Reflecting on my first year at CPiO, I am proud of the professional development and experience I have gained. Through various training sessions and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, I have expanded my skills in various areas of marketing.

I have successfully completed process improvements, contributed towards organisation goals and gained confidence in my abilities. I have gained valuable experience in problem-solving and developed my ability to adapt, becoming more resilient and resourceful.

How would you describe the CPiO culture?

Tamara:
I would describe the culture as welcoming, friendly and familiar. There is always someone around to help with a query or an issue and you can really see the value of teamwork at CPiO. From the marketing team who will initially process a lead, to the product specialists and account managers who turn a lead into a customer, to the projects team who will implement software and get the new customer ready for go live day.

Kiruthika:
The team at CPiO are known for their vibrant and inclusive culture that supports innovation and collaboration. I am proud to work for a business that values teamwork and encourages employees to work together, connecting diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. The team promotes open communication and provides a supportive environment where I always feel comfortable sharing my ideas and feedback.

I am really fortunate to work for a business that values the importance of work-life balance and recognises the importance of employee well-being and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment.

What does your average working day look like?

Tamara:
My working day begins at 8:45am and finishes at 5pm. However, no two days look the same for me. I may be planning and scheduling social content, filming video content, using Canva to create, design or edit materials, working in CRM updating records, registering leads, or interviewing colleagues for blog and eBook content.

Kiruthika:
My normal working day involves a combination of data analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams. I regularly analyse our websites to measure campaign effectiveness, user behaviour, and conversion rates and provide insights to team for future development and improvement. I also perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on the CPiO website, ensuring it is secure, functional, and optimised for user experience.

What would you say to anyone considering working for the company?

Tamara:
I would say CPiO is a great company that can really add value to your career. CPiO is a digitally advanced business which extends to the marketing department. We have access to many beneficial tools for example design and edit tool, Canva and leading marketing automation tool, HubSpot both of which are invaluable for marketers like me. Also, many employees have worked at CPiO for a long time. When I began my journey at CPiO, 4 colleagues were celebrating their 25th work anniversary, there is a wealth of knowledge and many experienced colleagues at CPiO that you can learn from.

Kiruthika:
CPiO fosters a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting collaboration, teamwork, and personal growth. The company values its employees and provides support for continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

As a business that recognises the importance of a healthy work-life-balance, you will be encouraged as an employee to prioritise your wellbeing and regularly switch off from work when taking your annual leave.

What has been your biggest achievement or milestone in your first year?

Tamara:
I would say my biggest milestone was the ‘On Your Feet Day’ that we recently took part in. I enjoyed being responsible for the day and getting my colleagues involved. I enjoyed the competitiveness of the day (the step competition) and the 10-minute lunchtime workout that we all were involved in from the guys at the Fort Dunlop 24/7 Fitness gym downstairs. After the event, I received lots of feedback that my colleagues really enjoyed the day and that we should implement more fitness into our daily work lives which was a positive outcome.

Kiruthika:
Over the past year, my biggest achievement has been driving significant improvements to CPiO's search engine visibility and organic traffic. Through meticulous research, strategic optimisations, and continuous monitoring, SEO efforts have yielded impressive results, with increased organic traffic and better user experience. I am really proud of what I have achieved so far.

Commenting on the work-iversary, Kate Mansell, Marketing Programme Manager says, “It’s a pleasure to have both Kiruthika and Tamara on the team and we are so pleased to be celebrating their one-year milestone with the business. During their first year they have both shown a genuine keenness to learn and support the team while developing the confidence to work independently. Having started my marketing career as a marketing assistant at CPiO, I can empathise with Kiruthika and Tamara and continue to help them build on their marketing expertise.”

Danielle Piotet, HR Manager adds, “We are happy to be celebrating Kiruthika and Tamara’s first year work anniversary with us. We are very proud of our people who represent our most important asset. As a business we believe that it’s important to celebrate our people and their achievements, whether it’s completing their first year at CPiO or celebrating their 25th work anniversary with us. Wishing you both many more with us at CPiO.”
