When will Sage retire Sage 1000?
The scheduled retirement of Sage 1000 will be the 31st December 2024, at which point Sage will cease all development, maintenance and support of the product.

What does Sage End of Life mean?
End of life means that Sage has made the decision that it can no longer continue to maintain and support this software solution, providing any affected customers with a 3 year window in which to migrate to another solution.

When will Sage retire Sage Line 500?
The scheduled retirement of Sage Line 500 will be the 31st December 2024, at which point Sage will cease all development, maintenance and support of the product. However, CPiO has confirmed that it will support any Sage site beyond this date via our expert team of Sage 1000 specialists.

Can I still buy additional modules?
Yes you can purchase additional modules until the 31st December 2022.

Yes you can purchase additional users until the 31st December 2024.

How can I access my data after this date?
As your Sage Business Partner, CPiO can arrange a licence key extension for up to 5 years after the 2024 retirement deadline. This will provide you with additional time to ensure your migration is well planned and successfully executed in line with your organisation’s own timetable and business priorities.

Will CPiO support my system beyond 2024?
Yes. CPiO will offer extended support on a best endeavours basis. We are happy to discuss this provision of extended support with you at any point to aid with your planning process.

Is there a migration path to another Sage product?
Yes. CPiO has developed clear migration paths for sites wanting to move from Sage 1000 or Sage Line 500 to Sage X3, Sage 200 and Sage Intacct. As an experienced Sage implementation partner, our expert teams have been working on migration tools, templates and best practice guides to ready you for the next step.

Is there a discount on software if we move to another Sage product?
Yes. As part of the Sage For Life policy, CPiO can offer its customers a discount towards the cost of new Sage software. We understand that this is a considerable investment and we are determined to make it as easy as possible to select another Sage software solution with CPiO.

What level of support can I expect from Sage until December 2024?
Normal service will continue under the terms of your support and maintenance agreement. CPiO will continue to issue regular support bulletins to advise you of any changes in product or maintenance schedule.
