Cyber Essentials Accreditation

Cyber Essentials Accreditation

CPiO is delighted to now be a Cyber Essentials Accredited Sage Partner, further reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional cyber security.

What is Cyber Essentials?

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed cyber security scheme which protects organisations of all sizes from the most common types of cyber-attacks, helping to prevent major issues such as data breaches, malware attacks, phishing scams, etc.

Businesses who do not have Cyber Essentials technical control in place are more vulnerable to attacks and become the prime targets of cyber criminals.

With the rise of GDPR, data protection is becoming a key focus for all businesses to ensure their customer data is appropriately protected. As such Cyber Essentials accreditation’s are very well respected within the business world.

What does the certification mean?

The Cyber Essentials certification can reassure you that CPiO and its sister company, eSpida take cyber security very seriously. We ensure that our customer data is secure and appropriately protected by means of stringent security settings, such as two-factor authentication, data loss prevention, anti-virus and backup and disaster recovery.

“With this accreditation we are now a Cyber Essentials accredited Sage business partner, trusted to implement and support Sage X3, Sage 200 and Sage CRM, professionally and securely.

We also have a cyber secure cloud platform, CPiO Cloud Gen 2, which is delivered securely from our UK-based Data Centre. Cyber Essentials recognises our ongoing commitment to cyber security and the accreditation further supports our drive to offer the leading service in our market-space.” James Bedford, Infrastructure Services Director at CPiO.

What’s next for CPiO?

CPiO has all of the requirements in place to fully protect both data and hardware and is on target to achieve the Cyber Essentials plus Accreditation later this year.
