CPiO marks 35 year milestone with all-staff party

CPiO, one of the UK’s most established Sage Business Partners, recently brought its entire team together to mark a major milestone - 35 years in business. 

The celebration was paired with fellow Waterdale Group business, eSpida, celebrating its 25 year anniversary. 

The event, held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Solihull, West Midlands, was more than just a celebration. It represented a moment of reconnection for a company that, like many others, has shifted to remote and hybrid working since the Covid-19 pandemic. 

“Having been unable to celebrate our 30th anniversary in person due to the Covid-19 restrictions, this gathering served as a meaningful way to reflect on the CPiO journey and the people behind the business”, says Rebecca Bradley, Commercial Director at CPiO. 

Founded in 1990, Originally as a Tetra partner, CPiO has successfully navigated decades of industry change. Today, the company delivers Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, implementing and supporting modern platforms like Sage X3, Sage Intacct and Sage 200, as well as legacy systems including Sage Line 500 and Sage 1000. 

CPiO’s long-standing success is underpinned by the loyalty and experience of its workforce. “We’ve built a team that genuinely cares about our clients and each other,” adds Rebecca. “That shared commitment is the heart of our business.” 

Managing Director, Andrew Watkinson highlighted the occasion as a celebration of resilience and growth, “This anniversary is more than a number - it’s a reflection of how far we’ve come and the trust we’ve built with our customers over three and a half decades.” 

He continues, “I am immensely proud of the business CPiO has developed into and the resilience of our employees, navigating some tough times over our 35 year history. While many businesses sadly did not weather the storm of the recession or the more recent pandemic, the strength of the CPiO brand, customer loyalty and staff belief drove us through. For this, during our anniversary celebrations I express immeasurable gratitude to everyone who has been on the CPiO journey with me.”
