Explore the features and benefits of Sage 200 Standard vs Sage 200 Professional

Sage 200 is designed for the small-medium (SMB) sector. However, businesses within this market segment are diverse and what is right for one organisation might not meet the needs of another. With this in mind, Sage offers two different versions of Sage 200; Sage 200 Standard and Sage 200 Professional.

Sage 200 Standard is a fully cloud-based product. There is no on-premise option and provides a limited functionality set.

Sage 200 Professional is available as cloud or on-premise and has more extensive capability.

Sage 200 Standard overview

Sage 200 Standard is an out of the box platform, bridging the gap between Sage 50 and Sage 200 Professional. It is the ideal solution for growing businesses that need a more enhanced accounting package.

Sage 200 Standard is a powerful yet easy to use, entry level ERP software solution. For organisations looking to manage their accounts online, with the ability to access company data from anywhere, at any time, this version is the perfect fit.

Sage 200 Professional overview

Sage 200 Professional is a step up from Standard edition, more suited to businesses that require a customisable solution. More than a basic financial system, Sage 200 Professional is a modular business management solution that can be customised to fit your business requirements. It is available on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

Financials is at the heart of the software with plenty of flexibility to add further modules, including Commercials, Project Accounting, Manufacturing and Business Intelligence. It is a package designed to manage more complex business processes across the entire organisation, from your desktop or on the go, at any time.
